We have had an amazing build of shed.  Another session tomorrow after a day off today.

We started on Friday and got up to eaves with seven of us.  Saturday was roof and shingles on with 13 of us, and wonderful lunch provided by our Fed Sec. Such wonderful happy friendly occasions, so much chat and good ideas and problems solved. Not an unhappy comment anywhere even when paint dripped on, or coffee slopped. No accidents and quality build and no red tape.  Our Fed Sec even took her turn shingling on the roof.  What a team, what a pleasure working with them!

Monday we hope to do door and window catches and the floor.  Cilla

And not to forget – many thanks to the the Manx Lottery Trust, who have kindly funded the shed for our new Training Apiary.

Congratulations to you all for the Lottery Money and most of all the fabulous skills and team work you displayed by building the new shed together. Long may it last and serve you for many happy beekeeping years and training sessions.

    Very impressive!
