The weather was kind – (until we started to take the marquee down) – the surroundings beautiful, the organisation good and the bbq done to perfection. This all served to enable many IOM Beekeepers, some with their families, to relax and enjoy a great day at Ballachurry.

Update from the Ed Officer
The students of this years Beginner Beekeepers, have fined down to seven keen attendees.
Having completed the theory part of the course at the beginning of April, we
then met up for our first practical afternoon at the end of April.
During a discussion with IOM Bee Inspector Harry Owens and wife Audrey yesterday, Keith Osborn and I were privileged to be shown some of Harry’s extraordinary collection of beekeeping memorabilia.
