It was a great shock to hear that Fred Lockey had died, last month.
Fred had been a member of the Southern Beekeepers since coming to live on the island, over 11 years ago. He was an active Beekeeper, until his recent ill health, and still had his hives at his home at Ballakilpheric.
Fred’s funeral will be held next Monday 16th June, at 11.30am, in Rushen Parish Church.
We send our sympathy to Fred’s wife Jacquie and to his family in England.
